Character Traits
My character traits are fun, sporty, loyal, trustworthy, smart, sweet, and also shy. My friends say I'm fun to be around with, I play sports too much, I can keep secrets, and that I'm too quiet. My family says I'm sweet and loyal too my friends. They say that I'm real close with my friends, Pals, AMIGOS!
In my family I'm more like my older sister Mari. Mari is very, very, very shy. She also likes to play sports and very trustworthy. When I tell her a secret she never tells nobody nothing. I know I can tell her anything.
My best friend Valerie traits are funny, smart, outgoing, sweet, and loud. She is very smart always getting 90's or higher on her report cards just like me! She is always talking, it's on and on. She is so cool.

Hispanic Heritage Month
The following sentences explain why it is important to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. It is important to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month because it is the anniversary of the independence for five Latin American countries- Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. These countries all declared their independence in 1821. In the U.S they celebrate the U.S residents who traced their roots to Spain, Mexico, and other Spanish speaking countries. The celebration starts September 15th to October 15th. This event was once shorter ,but was extented by president Ronald Regan in 1988. In this celebration more than thirty five million people identified them self as Hispanic. People in the USA celebrate this event by having parades, gatherings, and parties. In this event most people wave the Mexican flag around and say the Mexican cry. So lets put it this way, you would want to celebrate your independence like the slavery, that is something to celebrate, so why can't we celebrate ours?

Obesity.
Obesity is a big problem in East Austin, Texas. Obesity can be prevented by getting rid of all of the fast food restaurants because it is very tempting to other people. Also to stop drinking softdrinks because in the year 2001 was the year that sold the most sodas. There was 15 gallons of sodas produced!!! How is that possible.
Speaking of obesity, for group D's commuity learning project we are having a jog off. It would be held I don't know when jet, but it will be held durring the summer. There will be music games for the littles ones. And for the adults the will be walking the tracks. We will be starting the flyers on Monday and hand out them later
