Drug Story

In the story this girl would go where ever she wanted because her parents were hardly ever home. One party that she went to they offered her drugs and she was only 15 years old! But she said," yes, let me have some of that."

I heard about this on the Internet, well on Google. The story was on a girl named Mindy McConnell. All of this happened in Goldbar, Washington 5-9-06.

This story made me feel like to stay away from all drugs total because it get you high big time. The girl in this story said that she couldn't get high enough. Can you believe that?! She said she had a kid and that she wanted the best for him, but she was constantly yelling at him. She also said that she chased her Ex boyfriend with an Ax, she also tried to kill her self with the train tracks.

I think this story changed my life because I know I'll never be in this situation.

Greatest Advice

The greatest advice I have ever given would be the advice I gave my 10 year old sister. It was close to TAKS. She finished taking her practice test and we saw her grade, it was bad. We told her to study hard but she wouldn't listen.When it was time for the TAKS she wasn't ready. When the test scores came in we were not satisfied at all! So instead of having a fun summer she had to go to SUMMER SCHOOL! When the next test came, we told her again to study hard or she would have to stay back a grade. Now she took it serious. It was the day the test scores came home. We were all scared about what she got. When we were opening it she in her room because she thought she was going to be bad. Ends up it wasn't. She passed! All of us were happy for her, so we took her out to eat. When we were over she came up to my older sister and I and gave us a huge hug. " If it wasn't for y'all I would still be in fourth grade. Thank you so much, y'all are the best". Now she studies for everything and takes it only one time.

Avoiding Bullies By Your Self

Sometimes you are going to being teased on . If you are being teased you can't always go to your teachers or parents for help. You will have to handle it by your self.

It is important to do this on your own because your parents aren't always going to be there when you need them. Mostly in your life you will have to do most of the things in your life by your self without your parents.

If you want to avoid the person you don't like very well, you can ignore them completly or try to tell them how you fell about them picking on you. If that deosn't work or if they are hitting you that is when you go to an adult or your parent. Never hit or fight back!

The changes I would like to make in my community is to stop the littering and also the graffiti everywhere. I would like to make these changes because it makes the community look very horrible and ugly.The littering is everywhere! On the streets,the front of peoples yards, everywhere! The graffiti makes us and the community look ugly too. Also it looks like we are bad people. I would make these changes by getting the word out and also trying to clean all of it up, so it would look all nice and pretty like it is suppose to.
