My goals for 2010 are to pass the TAKS tests and to be fluent in Spanish. These are my goals because I really want to go to the 7th grade and I'm tired of my mom, dad, and older sister Mari speaking Spanish when they don't want me to hear and most of the time I would like to hear what they are saying and especially when they are speaking Spanish. Some of my other goals are to over come my shyness in front of people because I'm tired of my my dad saying that it's retarded and dumb that I do that. He also says that it would get me no where. The last thing of my goals are to maintain my straight A's in school. These goals will happen if I work harder and harder every day and keep doing what I'm doing except for that shyness suff.

!!!!Chris Brown!!!!

My favorite singer is Chris Brown. He is this to me because he is a very good singer.He started to sing in 2005 when he was 51, his first CD was released. It was a huge success, it sold 1.9 million copies in the U.S and more than 3 million world wide!! And on November 2007 at the 17 he sold another CD that was also an success.

Chris Brown is a good singer, but also a good actor. He guest stared on the O.C show in 2007. He was also in the movie Stomp the Yard and also in This Christmas also in 2007. He says he also wants to be a mogul, entrepreneur, have a clothing line, be an executive everything. Which is possible!!

In 2008 Chris Brown had met another singer named Rihannna. They met in the GRAMMIES of 08. They started to go out and had a very good time when it lasted. In 2009 the word got out of Chris Brown doing such and such to Rihannna that was very bad. That incident messed him up. In 2009 he finally said sorry to her, now they are talking, but not that much as that she forgives him.

December 8, 2009 his new CD is going to be released. It will be called Graffiti!!

Golden Panamanian Frog

The most endangered frog in world is the Golden Panamanian Frog. Most of the frogs live in the Philadelphia Zoo.Some people say they are good luck charms and also that they are practically extinct from the wild since 2007. Some people are trying to preserve these species.

These frogs socialize with other frogs by throat sounds and hand waving. Some people found out about the hand waving by a group of amphibian experts.

The male frogs can be up to 1.4 to 1.6 inches long and weigh up to 3 to 5 grams. The female frogs can be up to 45 to 55 millimeters long and weigh up to 4 to 7 grams. That's Bigger than the male frogs!

These frogs are going extinct because of Chytrid Fungus, a deadly disease that may happen because of the climate change. Also other fungus that affects the skins of amphibians that may come from the water and air they breathe and drink. So lets not pollute the air and water because that might be the problem to this whole entire mess. Lets do our part and save these frogs because in a couple of years they might all go extinct!

Number the Stars

The characters in number the stars are Annmarie and Ellen.The story takes place in Denmark during the Holocaust.Annmarie's friend Ellen is Jewish which means she is in some trouble. In their city the Nazis were getting all the Jewish people and taking them to the concentration camps where their were killed.When the Annmarie and Ellen notice all of the Jewish people "relocating", they think it is time for Ellen and her family to hide. When the Nazis come to Ellen's house there is only enough room for Ellen's parents, but Annmarie's family said it was OK for Ellen to go with them. The Nazis don't find Ellen's parents so they check the neighbors house, which is Annmarie's house. When they are knocking on the door they didn't know were to put Ellen so they pretend she was theirs. When the Nazis came in they suspect some thing is wrong because everyone has brown hair except for Ellen. But Annmarie's dad shows them one of theirs daughters baby picture because she had brown hair when she was baby. One of their daughters had past away in a car accident whose name is Lise and used her baby picture as Ellen. When they left they didn't take anyone or any thing with them. Annmarie's parents call Lise's boy friend who works with boats, so her could take them to Sweeten where there is no Holocaust is not happening. Will Ellen and her family get to Sweeten safe or not? MARIELENA SANCHEZ

The person that I look up is my older sister Marielena Sanchez. She is 15 years old and she is also a Softmore at Del Valle High School.I look up to her because she is a hard working and confident girl. She works hard at school, home, and at the stores because she helps out my mom. In school she keeps an A,B point average and plays high school softball. She goes to Del Valle High School and plays for them too. She is an awesome 3rd, 1st, and pitcher (in softball). I'm amazed on how she is doing in softball when she has school on her back and that is adding more and more homework ever day! Next school year she is tyring out for the varsity team, which is much harder than JV. Also next she is also going to be doing English as Pre AP. She going to try to get into UT and become a softball player over there and major in Pre Med and become a doctor. Wish the best for you sister! Good Luck! See you at home.

Drug Story

In the story this girl would go where ever she wanted because her parents were hardly ever home. One party that she went to they offered her drugs and she was only 15 years old! But she said," yes, let me have some of that."

I heard about this on the Internet, well on Google. The story was on a girl named Mindy McConnell. All of this happened in Goldbar, Washington 5-9-06.

This story made me feel like to stay away from all drugs total because it get you high big time. The girl in this story said that she couldn't get high enough. Can you believe that?! She said she had a kid and that she wanted the best for him, but she was constantly yelling at him. She also said that she chased her Ex boyfriend with an Ax, she also tried to kill her self with the train tracks.

I think this story changed my life because I know I'll never be in this situation.

Greatest Advice

The greatest advice I have ever given would be the advice I gave my 10 year old sister. It was close to TAKS. She finished taking her practice test and we saw her grade, it was bad. We told her to study hard but she wouldn't listen.When it was time for the TAKS she wasn't ready. When the test scores came in we were not satisfied at all! So instead of having a fun summer she had to go to SUMMER SCHOOL! When the next test came, we told her again to study hard or she would have to stay back a grade. Now she took it serious. It was the day the test scores came home. We were all scared about what she got. When we were opening it she in her room because she thought she was going to be bad. Ends up it wasn't. She passed! All of us were happy for her, so we took her out to eat. When we were over she came up to my older sister and I and gave us a huge hug. " If it wasn't for y'all I would still be in fourth grade. Thank you so much, y'all are the best". Now she studies for everything and takes it only one time.

Avoiding Bullies By Your Self

Sometimes you are going to being teased on . If you are being teased you can't always go to your teachers or parents for help. You will have to handle it by your self.

It is important to do this on your own because your parents aren't always going to be there when you need them. Mostly in your life you will have to do most of the things in your life by your self without your parents.

If you want to avoid the person you don't like very well, you can ignore them completly or try to tell them how you fell about them picking on you. If that deosn't work or if they are hitting you that is when you go to an adult or your parent. Never hit or fight back!

The changes I would like to make in my community is to stop the littering and also the graffiti everywhere. I would like to make these changes because it makes the community look very horrible and ugly.The littering is everywhere! On the streets,the front of peoples yards, everywhere! The graffiti makes us and the community look ugly too. Also it looks like we are bad people. I would make these changes by getting the word out and also trying to clean all of it up, so it would look all nice and pretty like it is suppose to.
